Title: “Kasol: A Peaceful Escape into the Parvati Valley”

Tucked away in Himachal Pradesh, Kasol is a small Himalayan village that feels like a dream. Known for its scenic beauty, laid-back vibe, and friendly backpacker culture, it’s the perfect spot if you’re craving peace, adventure, and a little magic.

I recently took a 3-day trip to Kasol, and it was one of the most refreshing experiences of my life.

Day 1: Arrival and Chilling by the Parvati River
After an overnight bus journey from Delhi to Bhuntar and a short drive to Kasol, I checked into a riverside hostel. The moment I heard the sound of the Parvati River, I knew this place would heal me.

I spent the day walking through the village, exploring cozy cafes like Evergreen Café and Jim Morrison Café, where the food is delicious, the views are surreal, and the people are super chill.

Day 2: Trek to Chalal – The Forest Trail
Kasol is famous for its short treks. I hiked to Chalal Village, a peaceful trail surrounded by pine trees and river views. The trail is easy and takes about 45 minutes. On the way, I met fellow travelers, shared stories, and enjoyed the kind of peace you don’t get in city life.

Back in Kasol, I ended my day with a bonfire at the hostel and some live music by fellow backpackers.

Day 3: Local Culture & Saying Goodbye
On my last day, I visited Manikaran Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara known for its hot springs and langar. It’s only 4 km from Kasol and gives you a taste of spirituality and local belief.

Before leaving, I bought handmade jewelry and woolen clothes from local stalls—perfect souvenirs with a Himachali touch.
